Isosorbide Dinitrate


PHARMACEUTICAL CATEGORY:

Vasodilator and Antianginal of Nitrates group.


COMPOSITION:

Each tablet contains: 5 mg Isosorbide Dinitrate.


DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:

The tablet is placed under the tongue until is dissolves completely.

Dosage is as directed by the physician:

·         The usual dose in acute angina is 2.5 to 10 mg sublingually.

·         As an adjunct in the management of congestive heart failure, doses of 5 to 15 mg are given sublingually every 2 to 3 hours.


PRESENTATION:

Adanitra 5mg: Boxes of 60 or 90 tablets.
